This policy explains what information CRWC Rail Hub collects, why, and what we do with it. It applies to this website.
Information you give us directly
If you send us a message through our contact form, we receive the name, email address and message you submit. We use it only to read and reply to your message and to correct any error you report. We do not sell it, rent it, or add it to a marketing list.
Information collected automatically
- Server logs. Our hosting provider records standard technical details of each request — IP address, date and time, page requested, browser and operating system, and referring page. These logs are used for security, abuse prevention and diagnosing faults.
- Cookies and analytics. We use Jetpack (from Automattic) for site statistics and security features, which may set cookies and record aggregate visit data. We look at these statistics in aggregate to understand which pages are useful — not to identify individuals.
- Search Console. We use Google Search Console, which reports aggregate search performance for this site. It does not tell us who you are.
Advertising
If and when we display advertising, ad providers may use cookies or similar technologies to serve and measure ads. Where such providers are used, they are subject to their own privacy policies, and this page will be updated to name them before ads run.
Third parties who process data for us
Our hosting provider (which stores the site and its logs) and Automattic (Jetpack statistics and security) process data on our behalf. Google processes aggregate search data through Search Console. We do not otherwise share your information, except where we are legally required to.
Retention
Contact form messages are kept only as long as needed to deal with the matter raised, and then deleted. Server logs and aggregate statistics are retained on our providers’ standard schedules.
Your choices and rights
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work. You may ask us what personal data of yours we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it — write to us through the contact page and we will act on reasonable requests.
Children
This site is a general-audience reference resource and is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

If this policy changes materially, we will update this page. Please check the date below for the current version.
