Hatia is a growing city in Jharkhand. Hatia Goods Shed is catering to the cargo needs of the area in and around Ranchi. Out of three sidings, one was given by railways to CRWC for development of warehousing complex. With a capacity of 12800 MT, the RWC Hatia started functioning in the year 2007. The terminal is currently being managed on the dedicated basis by M/s Origo Commodities India Pvt. Ltd. Presently cement and fertilizer consignments are being handled at Hatia. The major companies operating at this terminal are M/s Ulttratech Cement, M/s Dalmia Bharat Cement, M/s Ambuja Cement, M/s NFL, M/s PPL, M/s KSFL, M/s IFFCO, M/s INDO GULF, M/s KRIBHCO, M/s IPL, M/s Tata Chemical.
